Organization

France HADRON is structured around five nodes and four research themes. This structuration is found in the various committees in charge of the management of the infrastructure. The daily management is coordinated by:

• A scientific and technical director: Mr Jacques Balosso (GCS Etoile, Lyon)
• A project manager: M. Jean-Charles Blouzard (CNRS, Lyon)
• Administrative and financial manager: M. Guillaume Larose (CNRS, Caen).

The Steering Committee:

The Steering Committee defines the perimeter, the project strategy and the coordination with all partners involved. It assesses the progress made by objectives and milestones; in this context, it can redirect some research activities according to new priorities or as developments of the subject. The committee valids by a vote the entry of a new partner in the infrastructure. It  proposes and encourages external collaborative activities with European or international projects. The Steering-Committee Chairman function is now performed by Gérard Montarou (LPC Clermont).The FranceHADRON steering committee consists of:

• A President
• The scientific and technical director,
• One representative for each Part funded by the ANR:
• the representative of the GCS ETOILE
• the representative of the ICPO,
• the representative ARCHADE,
• the representative of CAL,
• the representative of the ICR,
• the representative of the IRSN,
• the representative of the INSTITUTION COORDINATOR

• One representative for each research theme (WP)
  • the WP1 leader: "Clinical Research"
  • the WP2 leader: "Optimizing GST"
  • the WP3 leader: "Radiobiology"
  • the WP4 leader: "Development instrumental"

To these members are included these members with a consultative vote:

• The president of the Operating Committee
• A representative of the two multi-agency Thematic Institutes of AVIESAN: Technology for Health, and Cancer,
• A representative of the National Agency of Research,
• The regional delegates to research and technology of hosting nodes regions:
• • the  DRRT of Normandy region ,
  • the DRRT of Ile de France region ,
  • the  DRRT of Midi-Pyrénées region,
  • the DRRT of the Region P.A.C.A.,
  • the DRRT of Auvergne region
  • the DRRT of Rhône-Alpes Region,
• The operational science policy managers of the regions:
  • the operational manager of the Region Lower Normandy,
  • the operational manager of the Ile de France,
  • the operational manager of the Midi-Pyrenees Region,
  • the operational manager of the PACA Region,
  • the operational manager of the Rhône-Alpes Region,
• The President of the French Society of Radiation Oncology

The Operational Committee:

The operational committee ensures FranceHADRON to follow the projects walktroughts. In this sense, it coordinates the activities of the different platforms and the research teams according the program and policy established by the Steering Committee. Action structure of France HADRON, he organizes the access to platforms by selecting the research projects supported by FrHA. It organizes the prioritization of proposed experiments, mobilizing the necessary resources, including time available bundles. The current president of the Operating Committee is Mr. Régis Ferrand (iUCT, Toulouse).
